We adopt an active approach to ownership and look for investment opportunities in sectors where we can leverage the operating experience of our team and partners from the sponsoring entities. We are extremely flexible with an ability to invest in both private and public equity, though our emphasis remains as private equity. We keep our investment process simple. We have a lean internal process – when we get the founders/space, we tend to move quite quickly (say a couple of weeks) and are always transparent on where we are in the process.
We primarily invest in, and support, mission-driven entrepreneurs in their initial stages of building their enterprises and consumer solutions with investments ranging from $100K to $5M. We typically acquire minority stakes, but can consider taking a majority stake in specific situations and are able to invest primary capital as well as acquire stakes held by other shareholders. More often than not, we are the first, and probably the largest, institutional investor in a company
